Baltic (74 Blackfriars Road, London) – this restaurant is housed in an eighteenth century former coach builder’s works and although redesigned, the original character is beautifully retained. With wooden trussed ceilings, skylights and clean lines, Baltic diners enjoy a truly unique experience.
Specializing in the cuisines of Eastern Europe, the menu offers an extensive a la carte selection. Also an ideal choice for theatre lovers, with the Young and Old Vice being a few minutes walk away. A pre theatre/set menu is offered at a fixed price of 2 courses for £14.50 or for 3 courses, £17.50. Food aside, the bar has an extensive cocktails list carefully prepared by the specialist bar team.
